The Carpenters Arms is a cosy country pub that is situated in the heart of the beautiful national-trust managed Limpsfield Common which in itself is a wonderful ancient landscape.
Eloise and the team pride themselves in their friendly and caring customer service, nothing is ever too much trouble and they love getting to know all their customers whether you are local or travelling from a far.
The historic Carpenters Arms dates back to the 1800s and has been at the heart of the local community ever since. Today, as well as the comfortable bar and restaurant areas, you can enjoy our large extension room which is perfect for any private event. Not to mention our large beer garden and patio area which is most popular in those summer months.
Our menus are devised to reflect the best seasonal produce and they offer a selection of traditional dishes with a modern twist. Not only do we source locally produce, we pride ourselves in our wide range of local beers and gins. Our award-winning real ales and lagers are brewed nearby at Westerham Brewery.
Take a look and see what's on the menu: whether you're after Sunday lunch, coffee and cake or a light snack, we have something to suit all appetites.
Our chef works with the seasons to produce menus full of flavour, and we're proud to source our produce locally where we can.
Read more about the award-winning ales and lagers you'll find on our bar, made just down the road by Westerham Brewery.
